The foundation “Centre for Innovation in the Sector of the Agricultural Machinery and Industrial Equipment. MAQCENTRE, Private Foundation” was constituted in 2008, as a result of the interest from several associations, private companies and public entities.

The MAQCENTRE Foundation has the following functions:

- Promote the activities of applied research and technological development, alone or in collaboration with companies and public entities.

- Develop technology transfer activities in the related areas.

- Develop training and specialized assistance to industry and administrations.

- Identify needs of the sector, define and implement appropriate services to meet those needs.

- Define plans, programs of quality and contribute to its implementation in the sector.
